UNC connections & Vista...

I don't have a Vista machine in front of me, but is there a new issue with
connecting using unc paths like \\computername\c$ now in Visa? Even when
trying to do it from Vista to an XP machine seems troubling.
They are both non-domain members. May be different in a domain environment.

I just bought a new computer that is running Vista Ultimate. I am the only
person using this machine and no one else had access to it. I need to know

(1) How do I log in as "admin" on the machine? The initial screen that comes

Help me please. I keep getting this pop up to purchase windows defender,
and every time I go out or try i should say to get on internet explorer
it keeps me from doing anything. I already have windows defender!!!
please how can i make the pop up go away so I can use my desktop. my pop

Hi, I have Vista home premium, My Windows Defender won't update, on the
notification it shows the castle wall with "!" mark. when I go into Windows
Defender, it says "! Check for new definitions." When I click "Check for
updates now," the button just blank out for 10-20 seconds, then it blanks on.

Please make sure the full path to httpd.exe DOES NOT contain space
characters. This will not run in Program Files directory. The best solution
is to install in in root:
C:\Apache\...
Then Right click on cmd.exe and choose to run it as administrator.
