Hello,
I'm currently trying to save a powershell global profile on a Vista SP1
machine and getting a failure, I would appreciate anybody's help with
understanding this failure

Program items/desktop shortcuts don't show up

I have an installation package (.msi) that is sent out thte users. This .msi
creates a shortcut on the desktop and places entries under Start - Programs.
On Windows Vista, the admin installs this .msi and logs off.
Now the non-admin user logs in, but he doesn't see the shortcut and the item
under Start - Pro ...

I posted this on several Vista groups in desperation. I can't get control
of my own computer although I'm the only user. I can't understand the
complicated directions given to OWN my own PC so I can delete unwanted files
downloaded to it in error from a backup external drive.
