Hi,
I am using Vista Ultimate x64. I have installed ATI Tool but at every
system startup, windows defender gives me a notification: "A program was
blocked". And it is ATI Tool. How can I disable this notification?

cannot delete font file off desktop

I made the mistake of transferring a font to my desktop to install. It says
that the font file is not a valid font file. But now I can not delete,
rename, or move this file (Script MT Bold.ttf). I had two other fonts on the
desktop, but was able to delete them after taking ownership of the protected
file ...

How to run a .vbs file in administrator mode by default

Hi,
I have a vb script file which does some thing like putting some files in
program files folder and tweaking registry entries etc. How can I run this
script as Administrator by default with out right clicking the cmd and then
selecting the "Run As Administrator"
Please help...

Is Defender the problem?

My Pavilion Vista laptop has been running slower and slower. Especially
while on the web. Pages take forever to come up. Even program files or
the All Programs menu. I have tried disabling Windows Defender thinking
it might be scanning everything. Is this a possibility? Thanks.

As a Vista Ultimate user, I was wondering if there was any way of "locking"
the "User Account Control" window that pops up each time I try to open or
install a program that needs Administrator permission?
At the moment it pops up all over the Desktop. I want it to popup in the
