Dropping Shared Connections (only)

I have an issue with Vista dropping shared drive connections, often
while working on files on those drives. Today I was working in Word on
a file on a shared drive... the connection just dropped. Word hung,

I've seen variations of this. Have a Vista machine where frequently, but not
always, a web page will just hang, sometimes just near the beginning,

Access file shared shows up read only

we installed a sbs 2003 r2 server and created an all share directory with
permissions set for everyone to have full control. I moved a Access .mdb
file to it and can read/write from one Vista ultimate machine but on another

I had a memory card on my printer mapped as a network location. All was well
for weeks then suddenly I could no longer access the drive. Took a few days
