Turn off the firewall for Symantec's no good security system, and all will be well. Leave Vista's firewall on or turn it on instead. I spent hours with Symantec about this and they do not have a fix, at this time. ...

I have a desktop running XP Pro SP3 and a laptop running Vista Home Premium.
I have the same User account set up on both machines with the same password,
the only difference is that on the Vista machine this user is a Standard
User while on the XP machine, the User is an administrator. I also have

Problem logging on to network share

I admin a network with 10 workstations and 2 servers. We just upgraded 2
workstations to Vista 64. These workstations connect to a server running

It will not update a roaming profile.
I created an account called test on the domain. Logged in to another Vista
computer and logged out, I checked the roaming profile on the server and it
was populated with the normal folders.

Remote Desktop - Login Problems

I have Remote desktop set up on Vista Ultimate 64. Port forwarding is
set up correctly. When I connect (from an XP machine outside the LAN) I
get the infamous 'incorrect user name or password' error even though the
password is correct. I have tried the DOMAIN\Username fix without

Sometimes. . . I can see the memory card installed on my HP printer and can
