I have done everything as shown in this post, but Vista x64 contains an
additional setting in:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ActiveMovie\devenum 64-bit
It shows the MIDI output device as "ffffffff"
Also, this directory does not list my MIDI devices.
My MIDI output is still not going to my synth.

I HAVE 140 SLIDES WITH MUSIC THAT I WANT TO BURN A DVD THAT I CAN PLAY ON MY
DVD PLAYER CONNECTED TO MY TV. WHEN I AM ABOUT TO BURN MY DVD, I FIND IN THE
PREVIEW THAT ONLY ABOUT 8 PICTURES ARE INCLUDED. I DO NOT KNOW WHY THEY ARE

Creating and saving file thumbnails

When I first display the pictures in a folder it takes a long time to
generate the thumbnails. Every time I page down to see another screenful I
have to wait.
If the folder type is Pictures and Videos can the thumbnails be:

windows vista cant get my sony dv camera to work on movie maker

Yes I have the fire wire,hooked up but since vista now I plug in and computer
makes the bong sound but nothing-in windows movie maker I go to import and it
says no item dectected,I tryed a driver up date nothing,so am I out of luck
or is there a way,and yes I only use a fire wire ...

Problem with Decoder driver

Hi All,
I have Windows Vista 64 bits Ultimate SP1.
I used to have Roxio installed in this computer after I uninstalled it when ever I need to deal with video it is looking for the Sonic Cine Player Decoder Pack. How can I resolve this problem? What other decoder should I install?

Constant Hang during "Import Video"

No matter what I try, the Vista "Import Video" window hangs forever.
Here's what happens:
I plug in my capture device into the firewire port of my Dell laptop, then
