Ripping on 64-bit Vista Media Player

I am trying to rip CD's into Windows Media Player on 64-bit Vista Ultimate.
Doesn't matter the disc I try to rip or the optical drive I try to rip it
from (I have three), doesn't matter the codec either. When I get to 30
percent of the first track it will stop produce an error and then error out
all other ...

I have Comcast PhotoShow which I cannot open in my new Windows Vista. I
had no problems with Windows XP. I have had so many issues with Vista
not being compatible with many of my programs. Does anyone know how to

Also, I didn't mention in the last post: I am importing normal AVI files
from my Canon digital camera, so they are nothing out of the ordinary.
Also, after the program is restarted, I can usually publish the video
without another incident on Movie Maker's part.

Hi,
Since Vista and WMP11 can't do the simple task of continuing a track
after it goes to sleep but rather plays it from the beginning when
awakening, I need a new Music player. I only play music from my HDD, I
don't download, don't buy online, don't watch videos etc. I’m

Movie Maker constantly crashes when I click "publish". After it crashes
and is restarted, I can usually publish the video just fine, but
something in my graphics system seems wrong afterwards; that is: after a
crash (even when Movie Maker has been restarted) right clicking on the
desktop brings up a *faded" sub-me ...

I got same issue on Windows Vista X64 , in fact the Bose Companion is not
using sound card , he has it's own sound system and linked with the PC by Usb
.
The main issue is that the Bose some time is not see by the system , unplug
then plug usb cable doesn't solve the issue ...

Select Which Pictures to Import?

When we had Windows XP, anytime we connected our camera up to the PC, before
importing, it would ask us which pictures we wanted to import and where. Now
that we have this new PC with Windows Vista...it only asks us for a tag, but
imports ALL pictures that are on the camera.
