Can't install Vista, keyboard won't work at setup...

Hi I am trying to change from Ubuntu to Windows Vista and when I boot the
setup from the DVD my keyboard will not work with the windows set up... its
built into my Dell 1420 Laptop N Series. I do not understand what is
wronog... I have 4GB RAM and 120GB Harddrive. The keyboard simply won't
work... does anyon ...

I began having problems getting some (but not all) Vista updates from MS
to install a couple months ago. My computer is working OK for what I
use it for except for the inability to install all the updates. I have
three updates that will not install now.

Upgrade to Ultimate with SP1?

I have winprem 32. Was thinking about updraging ultimate with sp1.
Will this be an issue with drivers for pc and such? I cannot back up
data or programs, rather, since I do not have ultimate now. Comments,
info, and suggestions please.

My Sony Laptop has Some Problem ( It worked fine from past 1 year )

I my self turned off the laptop yesterday night and when I turned it

Horrible experience with changing to 4 processors to boot in msconfig! I
cannot get my system to boot at all. It goes into a continual reboot
cycle. Repairing Vista does not work. Cannot even boot into safe mode to
change it back! I am now using my original HD in 32-bit mode, but having

I recently purchased a new dell laptop with windows vista ultimate 32bit
installed. It came with a sheet that mentioned a free upgrade to vista
ultimate 64 bit, which i cannot seem to find. Does anyone know of
another way to upgrade to windows vista ultimate 64 bit?
