After checking on the net, there seemed to be several referrals to

Can i use one of my hard drives as my backup?
Sat, 4 Oct 2008 05:47:11 -0500
I need to re-install Vista but i also need to back up about 200-250GB
before i do that.
Rather than transfer all of that over my home network to another
computer, it would be easier to copy over the things i want from my D
drive to my E drive (those are the only 2 drives with things on that i
want to backup)

continued with the restoration, but it hung up mid-process and gave me
the nice error message that said something a ...

Hi,
Is there a way of installing XP on it's own drive on my Vista machine
