Trying to install Vista Business but it fails just after the point

How to set the path of exe file in cd in registry?

I want to run a update exe file from cd-ROM, and it need to set the
file's [XPSP2] compatible in the registry to run without error, the
cd-ROM drive mount as D,
but set exe path as [D:\verup.exe ], Value as [XPSP2] in the next

Error installing Vista on New Homebuilt

Tried to install Vista 64bit. I'm able to boot up Vista only when I put
my DvD drive as first in the BIOS boot priority. Vista loads up, asks
