The Hp1015 driver worked for me for 2 days - then it suddenly printed
"Unsupported Personality: PCL" right in the middle of printing.
Since then I have tried deleting reinstalling etc - but Vista won't
allow it. Now when I send it to the location of the driver to install it
says "this driver does not support 64".

USB keyboard not working on start up

Occasionally, my microsoft usb keyboard won't function when I start the
computer, but it's fine when I re-start. This isn't a big problem, but
I was just curious as to what could be causing this to happen.

very slow dvd burning on my dell 1520 inspiron vista laptop

hi!
i don't know what happened,
my dvd burner was ok...
but now i can't burn even 1 dvd
it's very verrrrrry slow. more than an hour.
& it always fail in the data verification.
i tried nero, roxio... i uninstalled it & reinstalled it.
but the same problem.
i tried different media...
same thing.
i don't kno ...

Device driver software was not successfully installed

My LITE-ON DVD SHD-16P1S ATA Device failed to install the driver software. I
was told by Sony to unistall the driver and then re-boot my computer as it is
a plug-and-play device. I also have another DVD ROM driver that is not even
showing up under my device manager window. Any help is greatly appreciated! ...

Sidewinder Precision 2 and Vista

I plugged in my Microsoft Precision 2 joystick into my Vista sp1 64 bit
machine, the driver installed automatically and it worked fine with Flight
Sim 2004. Later, I had to restart the machine to finish installing updates
and now the computer won't detect the joystick.

Hi all, new to the forums :)
I have been fighting with my PCI IDE Raid card. I have it set up as
RAID, I have been through F3 and set up which disk is the primary and
secondary.
In Vista I can see both drives in explorer and disk manager.
However... I'm not sure that RAID is working, I have set it up as
mirroring ...

Like many, I had this problem with a Printer. I have now found a
solution, though not for everyone. The cause in my case was a USB device
not supported by Vista (a Webcam that Creative haven't bothered to
provide Vista drivers for). I have this connected and have an XP
partition on my computer to allow me to use it ...
