World Clock for Sidebar

I'm looking for a sidebar clock that shows a map of the world and where
it's day and night. I used to have an old 16-bit application that would
do this and run under 32-bit OS's, but I've upgraded to 64-bit Vista so
I could expand my memory and it won't run there. I'd love to have a

Windows update fails

My automatic Windows Update shows that the SP1 for my 64-bit Windows Vista
Business is ready for downloading. I started the update process and saw the

Hi Vista gurus
We're using CYGWIN_NT-6.0 1.5.25(0.156/4/2)
We were successfully using it on Win2k3SP2 but on Vista ultimate it is not
working as previously.
When we start our application in the cygwin command prompt window, it is not
doing anything but just times out after awhile, terminating the process

I know this is an old thread, but I get asked this often
Right-click on "Downloaded Program Files" Folder>Left-click Properties
Un-check "Read-Only" box>click Apply. When Attribute changes
Pop-up appears>click on OK to change the files
(which are what cannot be touched)

Vista crashes during defrag

Hello,
My laptop crashes as soon as the defrag finishes the analysis stage and
moves into the defrag stage. I ran a chkdsk and everything is fine. I think
it might have something to do with ReadyBoost and ReadyDrive. Anyone know
how tore solve this problem?

Hi
after installing BEARSHARE sic! on my PC a popup constantly comes up
referring to R&R Install, which is very annoying and stop my Playlists on
Media Centre.It tells me to reboot and when done nothing happens.
If anyone can tell me how to get rid of this problem, kindly please respond.

Administrator User Account issues

I am the only user on my account. Im trying to run a game which requires
me to run asit as an administrator and as a Windows XP (service pack2).
When I go to properties I can choose it to run as XP but the "run as an
adminstrator" option is greyed out so I can't enable it. I have also
noted that Vista doesn't alway ...
