Where is ?

Yesterday I downloaded everything Microsot had to offer on the Windows
update page but now I can't find anything that was downloaded so where were
they downloaded to? I'v chacked every place I can think of but no joy.

Shared Drive Problem

Main computer running Vista Home Premium with wireless DSL router.
Secondary computer running XP-SP3? (all updates done). This was my old
computer that I wiped clean and did a new clean install and did all updates.
Everything works great and able to print from XP computer with printer
connected to Vista comp ...

Backups and Restore Points

backups are created by me but restore points create "shadow" copies of
system files yet the changes I make to my files are included in these

Playing DVDs

Hi all,
What would be the cause of my problem? When I insert a DVD, of course
for viewing :) I get a multicolored, pix elated screen. I get the same
result using Media center or media player. Any help would be helpful.

start menu - shortcut error

Hi All
When i press the windows key and then type in "ex", the excel show up
on the menu, when I click it, the excel didn't launch. But I can launch
another software such as photoshop or notepad. How to fix it?

New MS Mail vs Outlook

Purchased a new computer with Vista 64 bit OS. It came with new MS Mail
program and MS Works. I prefer it rather than MS Outlook that was bundled
with my old Office 2007. Can I install my Office 2007 suite on the new PC
