DirectX 10 Question

I've already seen this brought up in other threads but I never felt it was
answered fully.
DxDiag is reporting only 2GB of system RAM when I'm running 4GB. Also, it is
only reporting 512MB of VRAM (+ the shared RAM) when I'm running Dual 1GB
Nvidia 9800gx2 in SLI. I'm using Vista Ultimate 32-bit SP1. All v ...

Very bizzard that this simple change cant b done in a patch. I heard
else where on the net ppl saying 2k/Fraxis replied to mails that they
dont plan to make it compatible with Vista.
Needless to say found this very useful link, that sorted it out for me
on Vista x64 with 4Gb of RAM.

bought new computer with dual core processor and vista installed. all my old
games crash that worked fine in xp. all games that require the cd in the
drive refuse to work or crash after start up. all the games that sit on the
hard drive and don't require the cd work normally.

can't get need for speed games to work with my new computer that runs vista.
matter of fact, no games that require the cd in the drive work. hp advise
center told me to trash vista and install xp. isn't that great......
