Dungeon Keeper 2 doesn't work

I am having problems getting my DK2 to work. I keep getting DKII.exe
has stopped working. I have updated the game and searched through
websites put i cant find a solution.

Alright, I've tried going to the root of the problem here. The
redists/vcredist.msi file claims to need the Windows Visual c++
Distributable Disk to continue. I previously had no knowledge of such a
disk, and I know for sure I don't have said disk. I've tried running the
setup as an admin, and I can't find the "run ...

I have a Toshiba Satellite P305D running Vista X64 and KotOR installed
and runs ingame just fine. The problem that I have is that it crashes
when trying to play the videos, which is solved by disabling the movies.
I would like to see the videos though because i have not played the

This problem began to be noticed on vista, but the vista laptop was too slow
to really get into crysis.
Crashes such as this one occur on both. In additon, Crysis may also fail to

game I'd like, I purchased (for a song :) ) the original which is now 7

Alright, so i just bought COH today and after installing it it prompted
me to download a patch. I did this, but had to restart it at about 99%
