hard drive drivers in Windows XP

I have been searching for the list of drivers in Windows XP because my
brothers computer has a Maxtor 6L250P0 hard drive installed but the Bios and
Windows XP Home Edition see a 7Y250P0 hard drive.
The hard drive is an ATA133 hd and there are also Sata models with similar
numbers at Seagate.com.

Error 8DDD0023 when downloading from catalog

When I try download anything from the Update Catalog I add it to the basket,
go to the basket and select download, the window pops up then the download
fails. When I click on the failed button it says I had an error 8DDD0023.
Can anybody tell me what this error means? I'm running on XP SP2 behind our

Update Catalog Seach Syntax ??

Question- what is the correct syntax to be able to use Windows Catalog Search?
Lets suppose I want to seach and retreive a list of all Windows XP updates
that are for English language. The Seach syntax does not appear to honour
"standard" practise of + or - so entering
windows xp +english
gives a whole bun ...

Update for Outlook 2003 (KB924423) - Add to WSUS

I need to add the above patch Update for (Outlook 2003 (KB924423)) added to
WSUS. It is not in WSUS by default. It is also not in the Catalog to manually
add to WSUS.
Is there a way to get this critical patch into WSUS for easy deployment?

I have just implemented a WSUS 3 server onto my network. It appears as
though everything is working fine, I have clients connected and hungry for
updates. I have synchronised via my ISA 2006 server and it has recognised
there are 1000+ updates that I have specified in the Classifications section.
