Automatic Update repetitive download

Why is Automatic Update repeatedly downloading KB 936181? Every time I want
to turn off the computer it wants to update the same thing, and it is
affecting how IE functions. It has downloaded the update nearly 100 times.
For now, I've turned Auto Update off.

you should add a button to resume the download when it fails for any reason,
do i have to go back to the cart anf fill it again to do that ?

Unable to run Windows or Office Update - Webpage seems to think I'

I am getting the following error whenever I try to access Windows update and
Office update on both my desktop and notebook computers. It appears that it
thinks my system is a Mac instead of XP Media Center. The message below
appears on the Windows update page:

I have been trying to downlad updates for ActiveSync 4.5, Streets and Trips
Construction Update, and other, but I can't. I can download software from any
other web sites, but not in microsoft.com.

how do i get WSUS to install microsoft hot fix

only pull updates published by MS. this update is downloaded from an email
for a hotfix MS sent me, any help would be great ...
