Get the current path of an IShellbrowser on Windows 2000

I have a pointer to an IShellBrowser and its IShellView. On Windows XP I can
QI the IShellView instance and then call IFolderView::GetFolder to get a
IShellFolder and the current path, but the IFolderView is not available on
Windows 2000.
Does anyone know a solution for Window 2000?
I've already looked ...

Have we got any system support for hot key detection in Win32 API?
I mean something which extracts 'T' from "s&tring", etc.

Names of months in bulgarian should not begin with a capital first letter!

The clock in the system tray displays names of months in bulgarian
with capital first letter.
This is incorrect - they should be lowercase.

Adding some information to a file

Hello I store in my application directory thousands of files.
I want to attach a string(id) to each of the files so when I'll look for
this string I will not have to open the file, read it get the string and
close the file.
What is the best way to do it ?
