Hi,
IPv6 installation fails with Windows XP Professioal SP2 and displays
the follwing error message:
>netsh interface ipv6 install
An extended error has occurred.
Anyone have idea about how to get rid off this?

I have been messing around with Server 2008 and decided to ACTUALLY
make it do something. It's installed in a virtual machine via Virtual
PC 2007. After googling for some time I can't find a way to find out
how to obtain an IPv6 address. I did run ipconfig and saw the address

Any one used tool to check IPv6- UDP communication is happening
across two machines(or on n/w) or not?
I'm using Windows server 2008 machine where default IPv6 is enabled.
But i have problem with tool provided by one vendor. I have seen IPv4
UDP packets are giong through in my n/w, but not with IPv6. ...

I'm trying to use IPv6 support given by default with Windows Server
2008 but i'm getting only LINKLOCAL address with % sign. For Inst:
fe80::78e3:3123:8c5c:246f%11
My question is when i try to ping machine the above IPv6 machine

the physical nics and other nics.
Is there any API that differentiate physical nics and virtual
nics(might be I am using a wrong term)

IPv6 support for ODBC

Hi,
Kindly let me know whether ODBC API has support for IPv6 type
addresses. To explain my problem a bit further,I am developing an application
which uses ODBC API,if I supply IPv6 types addresses to ODBC API will it be
able to handle such addresses.
