Problem on generating consecutive GUIDs

Hi, all
I am trying to generate a block of consecutive GUIDs. I use the following
command
uuidgen -n5 -s >guids.txt
However, the guids are not consecutive. The output is listed in the end.
This result is generated under WindowsXP and Visual Studio .Net 2002.
So why? Please help me! Thanks in advance!

Hello,
what can be the reason for QueryInterface failing, even though the DLL
seems to be correctly registered?
It was registered by some setup program and I also manually called
"regsvr32 file.dll".
The "OLE/COM Object Browser" (I'm using the German version - I guess
that's what it's called in Englis ...

I've coded, with VB6, an ActiveX server and a client.
Now I've the server installed and running on a WinXP SP2 machine and two
clients running on two Win2K SP4 machines.

I would like to know, how can I find out the GUID of a COM component in a
DLL, when -
1) I have the source code of the ATL COM project,
2) I only have the COM DLL and no source code.
