LDAP search filter length

Hi All,
Is there any limitation in Active Directory on LDAP search filter
length?
That is if I use a filter from my code like:
ldap:///base??sub?(|(cn=v1)(cn=v2)(cn=v3)....(cn=vN))
Here the number of values involved in ldap search is decided at
runtime for me. It could be even in hundreds. So, I would like ...

We have an AD2000 forest and The GC's in all domains have increased from 1.7
GB's to 2.3 GB's in a 24 hour period. Obviously something happened but
there were no new accounts created. Some non-GC's in just one of the
domains also have 2.3GB, and they are not even GC's; but no other non-GC's
in other domain ...

Include OLE class and product information - Enabled/Disabled

I selected "enable" for this option, and according to GPMC it still says
"disabled" I noticed that when I made a new package that did not have a
transform, it did say "enabled" like I selected. For some reason though, my
colleague made a similar policy and his has both the correct entry, saying

Problem has been solved, thanks all for the troubleshooting help. The
problem was twofold, both on my part.

I am attempting to do the user queries, but I am ending up with an issue
when I gets to foreign security principles. Does looking up these groups
require being in a trusted domain? What can you tell us to help get us past
