We use AD 2003 server. We also have
a GPO restricting menus and distributing security zone for
web sites to be trusted. But somehow we have blocked out users
ability to download files (all files from any site), from the internet.

I checked the site-link, the subnet definition, and the site itself, they
all look fine. There are three DC's; the first we moved in manually so we
wouldn't get any "there are no DC's in the site" type of errors, the second,
we waited, and it didn't do it, and was having some other problems so ...

ADAM X500 Attribute OID Problems

I'm trying to create some new attrributes within ADAM instance - when
entering the X500 OID I've entered 1.2.36.825753556.1 (36=Australia,
825753556=Partial Tax Office ABN missing 51) however I always get an error
saying a parameter is incorrect. If I change to OID to 1.2.36.123456789.1 it
