XSLT Transformation for a given schema file

Hi All,
I have two schema files (SchemaOld.xsd & SchemaNew.xsd) with M and N
elements each.
I need to make a XSLT transformation to transform XML files according
to SchemaNew.csd to SchemaOld.xsd.
Should I create templates for all M elements to transform the xml file
of type New to Old?
