Can anyone help with windows update error 80070490 - Windows can not search
for updates. I can't find any relevant information other than a recomendation
that I should run windows update.

When searching for "PublishViaMIME" at http://msdn.microsoft.com/sv-se/search
I find: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/cc302021.aspx describing a
way to manage MIME attachments in NET web services.
But this "PublishViaMIME" attribute does not seem to exist neither in
documentation nor in VS2005.

shortcut keys in microsoft works 9 word processor

the shortcut keys alt + 0234 etc don't work. all i get is a bleep. to insert
the characters, i have to manually do it. in previous editions of word, it
worked fine. is this a problem with particular version, or is it windows
vista? am i missing something obvious? ...
