Performance Problem with XMLA

The problem with XMLA is, in some queries it returns 30 to 40 MB of
response. (Can not use HTTP compression as it creates CPU over head)
We load the SOAP response directly into the memory (not sent to the
client/browser), then perform some stuff like populating the resultSet

I'm trying to use adomd.net in a asp.net application. VB.net in visual
studio.net, sqlserver 2000. I am new in this and having trouble

Roles I add in Analysis Manager are not seen when I Discover catalogs in
XMLA. And therefore I cannot see the cubes in this catalog. Changes to
roles in the FoodMart cube show up. XMLA is running on a separate Win2K box

I get the following error when I try to open a cellset containing -1.#IND
cell value.
This error does not occur with 1.#INF values (they appear as Infinity).
