mappoint image errors?

Hello,
i have been extensively using the mappoint webservice for an web app we are
developing. however, yesterday (2007-11-14), the map service did not seem to
be able to retrieve the map images correctly. ie. i just get the standard
"image not found" icon in IE (a document icon with a cross through it).
