Vista keeps kicking me off my wireless internet connection

I am being told there is a problem with the networking part of the software
with vista.I keep getting kicked off the internet even though I have great
signal.Supposedly there is a fix but I sure am having a hard time finding
it.My experience is all of ten weeks and I'm trying to go to school on-line

My system fails to boot (it gets to the Windows screen and then retstarts). I
do not have an ERD. I have tried running recovery without the ERD but the
system fails to find the old copy of Windows. I have the origianl Win2000 cd.
Is there any way to recover from this type of problem without reinstalling

Problem:
Suddenly, I find that the sound coming out of my PC's speakers seems to be
an octave or so lower in tone than it should be.
What might cause that to happen?
I have a Sony PC with integrated (no soundcard) audio.
