Programs Menu disappeared

Please help! When I click Start/Programs my menu no longer appears. I have
searched the support database and cannot find a fix. Whatever caused the
problem is also creating an error 1606 when I try to install a new program. I

Hello, i have got windows XP Pro on my computer and tried to put linux on,
when iv gone to unload linux it has taken 60 gig of my drive up, i have tried
ghosting it and formating it and all it is doing is reconising 12 gig on a 80

Installed Windows 98/ME USB drivers onto XP

Like an idiot while upgrading my motherboard i installed all the drivers on
the CD, the USB ones were for Win 98/ME, now my USB ports are not working,
well a couple seem to be sort of. To make it worse i didn't bother changing

I have xp pro sp2 and when installing sonic's backup MYPC, the user name and
organisation name is not picked up and I think this is one of the reason why
the schedule backup does not recognise any users accounts on this laptop.

My question is, is there a way to incorparate the date and time in the file
