Start and stop java processes invoked in a .cmd script on a schedu

Hi,
I have certain java processes/jobs that are run in separate .cmd scripts. I
need a way to start and stop them on a schedule on Windows 2000 Professional.
If i use the Task Scheduler to stop the process it appears to only kill the
command line shell but not the actual java process. Am I doing something

How to sort all Lan files, into different sequences, across folder

Hi. I adminster some very large Lan drives & only have NT Explorer to list
drives/ files etc.
When I have Lan space issues, I have to drill down folder by folder (with
folders in folders) to find large files or earliest created files to consider
for deletion.

Outlook links problem

Outlook 2000 problem solved. I held down the control key and clicked on the
link. It seems my pop up blocker was the culprit. Perhaps my solution will
help others.

Windows 2000 wont finish loading

When i start my computer, windows loads perfectly, untill it comes to load
the desk top. The desk top will not load.. The curser works, ctrl/alt/delete
works... but still no desktop.. What can i do to sorrect this problem? I do
not have the windows disk anymore.... Any help would be apreciated ...
