Taskbar Icons

Hi,
One thing I can't figure out is there are no icons shown down right
corner of my desktop, ie. startup icons.Only a single icon I can see is a
personal firewall icon. I am wondering where other icons have gone.I want to
bring back those icons, espacially LAN icon.

WIndows Authentication Through Wireless Access Point

Ok, can someone please give me the low down on how to set this up? With a
laptop I can acess the internet through my access point (Wireless G) but I
need to be able to authenticate to the network for access to network shares
etc.

Smartphone C500 unlocked from Orange

Associated a downloaded programme screen with Media Player in File Manager.
When I rebooted the phone will not load the startup. It keeps recycling
through orange start page and Windows Mobile page and keeps beeping. Then it

The C: drive is failing in one of our machines that has two hard drives in
it. The other drive is partitioned into X: and Z:.

Deploy image to a dynamic disk

Using WinPE, diskpart, format, and imgdeploy can I deploy an image to a
dynamic disk? I have no problems using this method with a basic disk. I've
tried several things including the order of diskpart commands to convert to a
dynamic disk and capturing the image from a dynamic disk but I still can't

Booting through NIC

Hi All.
I have a laptop compaq n400c, I have no docking station and hence no CD rom,
or fdd.
I needed to reinstall windows 2000, so I removed the hdd and inserted it
into another Laptop, installed windows 2000 there.
Now, when I replaced the HDD in the compaq, I get that blue screen error,

Chkdsk fails to run at atartup
