I have installed .net framework 2.0 64bit and 1.1 32 bit on a new server
which has Windows 2003 64xEdition installed. I wanted to host few
applications developed in ASP.net 1.1 and 2.0. After installing 1.1 first the
ASP.Net tab got disappeard from the IIS but later I managed to change the

what is checksum

i tried to install windows xp home edition and when it tried to start windows
it gave me an error message of bad image checksum the image ole32.dll is
possibly corrupt the header checksum does not match this computed checksum.
does anyone know what to do ...

HTTP Referrer NULL

When a pop-up is fired and closed . the pop-up refreshes the mother window.
but returns the HTTP_REFERRER as null
my logic is to redirect the page to home page if HTTP_REFERRER is null
now when client clicks on browser refresh button its being redirected to
home page
any logic for this ...

TechNet Library content missing

I have downloaded the TechNet Library application from subscriber downloads
and there seems to be a lot of content missing that is available online.
Just one of many examples is Data Protection Manager 2007, there is no
documentation for that in the downloadable library. Any idea why this is so?

I wanted to know that once you upgrade the framework service pack versions,
is it ok to delete older versions or do I need to keep every single version
of .Net Framework on my computer? I run Windows XP home. Please reply

MSDN 2008 iso unreadable

I downloaded the entire MSDN Library 2008 iso file (2GB!) and followed the
instructions to mount it on a virtual drive, but Setup wouldn't run. Nearly
all the files on the iso contain just 0x00 in every byte, including the msi
file and all the cab files. Setup.exe looks like a normal program, but all it
does ...
