Deactivating server to reuse key

I have a development VM that installed Windows Server 2003 on...unfortunately
the project ran longer than 30 days and I had to activate Windows. My
question is, is there a way to deactivate Windows Server before I blow away
the VM, so I can reuse the key?

I just signed up for MSDN yesterday and although I am logged in, when I try to use the Online Concierge service it simply doesn't work.
A window pops up (after I disabled popups) and I see a window titled Talisma NetAgent Customer Client and it looks like it is trying to connect to the service. Then a few seconds ...
