I have just noticed that for some reason System Center Data Protection
Manager 2007 has been removed from the MSDN download.
I have engaged in an e-mail conversation with the MSDN support center about

Hi There
When I try to attach a video clip in my yahoo mail account, I get the
message " windows host process (rundll32) a website wants to open web content
using this program on your computer. When I click allow it just pops back up
again, even when I click not allow it pops up. Does anyone have any

Mixing input on sockets and stdin in Win32 Console Application

I am writing a Win32 console application. The application is a socket client
using winsock2 (WS2_32.lib). Most input comes from stdin, but I would like
the application to receive unsolicited data on the socket. Is there a way to
do this?

Activesync Server Login

I have a Palm 700WX running Mobile 5.
I am trying to change the Exchange server.
Activesync lets me change the server name but the User Name and Domain are
greyed out and it won't let me change them.
The Activesync is the one that came with the phone and I don't know how to
display the version info.

Search Document Explorer not sending credentials when 401 returned

not return those credentials when a 401 is returned. Is it possible to make

Whenever I start windows media player ll, a "GET CONNECTED WINDOW" pops up
that says "Looking for a Mobile device, when I click on next, I get a pop up
that says "Your mobile device has not set up a connection with this computer,
to start a connection, start ActiveSync and follow the on screen
instructions" ...

can anyone explain what "msdn managed newgroups" is
it seems to be just the microsoft.public... newsgroups available through any
news server. do i get any additional benefits from having MSDN ?
