I'd like to offer instructional videos that both PC and MAC users can view.
They are al currently in WMV format.
Can anyone suggest a format that both PCs and MACs could read without too
much trouble?

can not install the WMP

I'm totally new to the mac... and I wanted to used WMP, and so,, I downloaded
WMP 9 for Mac OS X
But, when I actually click to download the installer, it says,
"Windows Media.sitx" may contain an apllication. The safety of this file
cannot be determined. Are you sure you want to download "windows media.sit ...

Prior to reinstalling WMP recently, I was able to view and hear email
attachment wmv's. Fragmented at best, but better than nothing. Now I can
not open any of them. A clear wmv document is displayed in the email
attachment window but when opened I receive a message "Application program
can not be found" ...

WMV and WMP

For years I have been unable to hear or see wmv's perfectly, only
fragmented but better than nothing. I recently reinstalled WMP 7.1 for Macs
and now I'm unable to open any wmv's. Window appears stating "application
program can not be found". My machine is a first generation iMac 233/G-3.
Upgraded memory ...
