Album Info Updates change songs

Hello all,
I do see quite a few similar posts here, but im not sure if mine is quite
the same
I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, with WMP 11. I have ripped approx.
7 songs from a mix cd. They were all in Windows media player already, each
with all their album info, songs, artists, everything already do ...

wmp9 won't open; flip4mac download not available

I'm running OSX on a Mac G5 and recently WMP9 has failed to open and displays
the message "has unexpectedly quit". I read about non-support by Microsoft
and attempted to download the free flip4mac (from here:

WMP 11: things I've noticed

I've noticed a few things about WMP 11 that I think may have been overlooked
or at least have not been posted about here: it would be nice if a developer
heard some of this or someone told me how to crack open WMP 11's sourcecode
and I'll do it myself (mwahaha?)
for starters: the first time I ever used WMP1 ...

Windows media player will not play sound in online sites

I have tryed to play sites lick C-Span with the windows media player, I have
tried many others sites. The video works fine but there is no sound? I
really have tried changing all setting but the sound does not generate. Real
player work fine, but many of the sites I want to play do not use this
program. ...

Won't open at all

I have just bought a new pc with windows vista and media play wont open at

Security Component Upgrade

No audio

The windows media player (on my Mac) opens the video but there is no sound
even though all the sound settings are correct.
Does anyone have any ideas?
