windows media player 11

hi folks, im new to this so please bare with me! on my windows media player
11 i have no volume when playing DVDs? volume works on cd/film clips etc just
not on DVDs, why is this,what can i do??? im running XP,cheers in advance for
any answers ...

I challenge anybody to be able to help me with this. A computer programmer
has tried as has a geek, and nobody has come up with a solution.
When I try to bury audio, I am told to "Connect a burner and restart the
Player". I don't have any external burners, I have always burned on to my D:

why does wmp exit full-sreen mode when press stop button?

Hi all, i'm a chinese video fan. i have 2 question.
I insert wmp into a dialogue as an activex control.
i double clicked wmp control, it entered a full and full-screen mode.
when i click the stop button, it exit full-screen mode.
but wmp does not when it play a video singlely. i really need wmp do
not quit ful ...

My dvd's wont play

I have Windows Media Player 11 installed in XP when I try to play a dvd it
plays the previews ok but when I try to start the movie the screen freezes or
is black. I recetly installed Service Pack 3 for what I am not sure. Should
have been for xp.I was getting a decoder error and downloaded a free one but
now ...

Stuffit for Mac

I'm a new-to-Mac user and i'm trying to view a .wmv file but i can't. I was
told to download Windows Media for Mac, but after installing i need a program
called stuffit but there's no freeware of it (not without a catch)
Is there any other freeware program to open this compressed files? ...

WMP11 Problem?

Please help I was ripping music to WMP11 when the disk paused halfway through
ripping the first song so I ejected it without pressing cancel rip and now I
cant rip or burn or even play a cd in my cd/dvd device even my windows xp
disk wont run it doesnt recognise the disk in my computer and I have even

I have a network of computers in my house. On two of them I am running
Windows xp with Service pack 2 and Media PLayer 11 . When I play dvr-ms
files back on the family room computer from the office computer it works
great. When I try the same thing on the bedroom computer I get audio but no
video ans a mes ...
