Entourage won't quit

Using Entourage with Office for Mac 2004, on iMac G5. When I try to quit, I
get the spinning beach ball forever, and always have to force quit. I'm
fully updated and have tried rebuilding the database with no luck.
Any suggestions?

Cursor Direction in Mail When Deleting Email

haven't really found an answer so am posting here in case someone
knows the answer/how to help. Does anyone know how to make the cursor
go down to the next email message instead of up when you are deleteing
messages? ...
