Office 08 for Mac: Big red X on word document written in Window

Hi,
I have a big red x instead of picture in a document written with Word
for Window.
The (in)famous big-red-x problem is not fixed even in Office 08.
Do you have any info about such problem ?

Office 2007 installation failure

Outlook 2007 Reminders are incorrect by hours

Excel - active cell highlighted border

I am not even sure if I am in the right place even.
New to Mac and office for Mac 2008. However am an old hand at windows
systems and office!
I was just wondering if you can change the colour of the border around the
active/highlighted cell in Excel on my iMac its a very light blue, but on

French spell-checking won't turn off

In a new document, I created a table. Halfway through filling out the cells

Macros to print documents in Word
