Mac system problem with MS Office for Mac

Opening Excel produces ' unexpected error while trying to load the Microsoft
Framework X library'. On OK (only option) this produces 'Error accessing the
system registry'. On OK the application opens.
Similar messages appear on opening Word and Powerpoint.
I've also had problems with QuarkXPress preferences ...

I received an attachment that is supposed to contain a list of email
addresses. I don't know what email program is used by the sender but I

Office 2008 update problem

On OS X 10.4.11 (Power PC) Currently running Office 2008 (version 12.1.0)
Trying to download the new 12.1.1 update and it fails every time. Have tried
using Office's Auto Update feature as well as manually downloading the 153
MB file from MS -- nothing works -- (my internet is fine).
What gives?

Printer won't print from internet

Hi! My HP 7310 officejet all in one used to print brilliantly but now it
refuses to print from the internet unless I place protected mode on vista to
off - not ideal I guess. This seems to have happened since I upgraded to AVG
free v8 recently though I can't say this with certainty. There is no warning
mess ...

Chart code developed on PC not working on Mac

The line of code preceeded by '***' below is coming up as an error when a
user of mine tries to execute code that was develpoed (and works) on a PC.
Any idea why this line would fail?

Can't load Messenger in Parallels XP Pro installation

I loaded the Parallels Desktop and then Win XP without a hitch, but when I
went to install Messenge Live, the installation fails. I turned off the
antivirus and firewall, yet it still failed. Any insights out there? Thanks
