With VPC 7.0.3, an actual, official Windows cd will not Autostart or is accessable if you click on the CD/DVD icon in the 'C' drive My Computer window. I was able to load Windows software onto this iMac running VPC, but it was a couple years back. Need assistance. Thanks ...

I have a new MacbookPro and still need a few Windows programs. I was told to use Boot Camp, and was also told to try VM Fusion and Parallels. Thanks for info. Since the problem surfaced when updating from OSX 10.3.9 to 10.4, I would assume that Apple modified the interface between VP 7 and OSX. Also, since 10.4. is used on Intel Macs where VPC isn't needed, why would Apple fix the problem? Let this be a message to all of those who feel compelled to update OS ...
