Does Remote Desktop Connection client allow you to access the desktop of a PC on a different server? If I wanted to access my PC at my office from my home Mac, would that work?

Curly braces in RDP on Swedish keyboard

I can't get special characters working when using the remote desktop client connecting to XP.
I need curly braces! Is there a way without using the on-screen keyboard?

When I have my connection established with RDC, typing in Outlook gives strange results: the keys partial don't match the signs. The letterkeys work well, but the others don't: all meshed up.
I hadn't this problem with the earlier version of RDC.

I am using Sonicwall VPN Connection and I have a Remote Users Group, I added
someone in the past to this group and they were able to use the remote
connection fine.
I recently added another one and they cannot, I get the "Interactive Login

RDC session converts filenames to lower case

We use RDC 2.0.0 for Mac to connect to Terminal Services on a Windows Server 2003 system. When saving documents to the Mac users Documents folder the file name converts to all lower case.
The same is true if you try to create a folder with upper case ...

I am trying to remote desktop through a browser but I am unable to I get a
grey box.
I have installed the relevant activex that pops up, but it shows has never
