Readable conversion issue

Hi,
Hope someone can help....I work at a minesite in the NW of WA to which
some computers use PC MS Word 97. I have a Mac with MS Office 2004 and
the file transfers have been great and readable in both directions. No
problem till I upgraded the Mac with MS Office 2008. Now the PC
computers won't read my files ...

Hi,
I found that this problem occurs with Excel 97 (cf kb :

But I have the same bug with Word 2003.
Instead of an icon, I have the first page of the document.
Any idea how to resolve this ? ...

Word 2007 Styles

I need to remove and rename styles in a document. The modify dialog box adds
the new name and does not remove the old one. When i delete a style it does
not delete and sometimes does not give me the option to. I am working on
templates and need to rectify this ???????

Clips Online

Got this weird problem.
When I try accessing Clips Online I get sent to "My documents"
i.e.
When clicking "Insert" > "Image"(hmm, using Swedish MS Word so the exact
"labels" may differ, but you get what I mean) > "ClipArt..." and then
clicking "Clips Online"
Got an account in a domain. The problem ...

Specific Styles Question (re. Academic Writing)

I'm editing a long formal document (academic dissertation), and I have it pretty well-organized with styles. Here's a specific problem I'm having with block quotations.
I use Style: Normal for default paragraph text, based on No Style, ...

Check the extension, and try saving as just ".doc" and sending that way instead of ".docx" ...
