Powerpoint slide show from list, with macro?

I would like to have a slideshow created from a list of slide names. Is there any way to do this, using VBA?
The list is generated by a macro in Excel.

I have a powerpoint presentation that has videos/movies to play. when the screen comes up it should automatically play the video. the video does not play.
