How I can retain my ID information and yet limit what appears on

Dratted Bouncing Icon

I am sure I am not the first, and won't be the last to ask how you stop the
stupid icon bouncing in the dock.
I have gone to general preferences, and de-activated Animate Icon, which
seems to be a logical move, but still it bounces.
Will someone tell me the secret.

Not receiving Exchange message in the correct Inbox
