How do I hide username list when signing in

Hi, I'm using Messenger for Mac 6.0.3. When I sign in there is a drop down menu which shows all the sign-in names I have used previously. I do not have the option to deselect this remember me-function. I have tried to reinstall messenger, but the list is still there. How on earth do I get rid of this list? Do I really ...

There is something wrong with their servers, this message is popping up on support forums all over the web. Hopefully someone at msn will get on it soon and we don't have to wait for west coast wake up.... ...
