Making your display name bold/italic

I would like to know how to make parts of your name appear bold/italic in conversations, because it can be done on PCs by simply adding [i] for open italics, and [/i] for close italics. On the mac however, it just appears as you typed it. Any ideas? ...

Use Ichat for AOL instant messaging. The features on that are waaaaaaaaay better than on this MSN For mac which is to say the least, bad until they update hopefully with WEBCAM support. ...

ive had the same problem for months. i googled it and found a suggestion: change your Passport password. i tried it, and it actually worked! ...

is it just me? or is the messenger server down again? cuz apparently i
can't sign in on mac:messneger, amsn, AND adiumx. i asked my friend
who uses windows XP to try and sign in... but no luck on that side
either...so does anyone have the same problem as me? ...
