Signing out of Messenger

Whenever i sign out of messenger - EVERY TIME - it always says there was an error and asks if I want to send a report to Apple.
Any ideas how to shop this? ...

my daughter uses MSN and lately she hasn't been able to sign in. The prompt is to download the latest version, which we do and still repeatedly get this prompt. Perhaps a very simple solution? at least it stops her being on MSN all the time.
Any suggestions to help ...

Problems signing in to Messenger with version 7

For some reason whenever I try and sign in I get the following error:
"signin failed because the service is not available or you may not be
connected to the internet"
Now I can signin using the Windows version from another machine on the same
network, so I'm really not sure whats going on. ...
