Can not change the Search default on IE7

Yahoo comes up everytime I do a search as the search engine. It is not listed
in the list of search site list. Live Search is the only option and it is
selected as the default site. But everytime I search the internet Yahoo does
the search. I would like to delete Yahoo and use Live Search. I am a novice

I dont know how to update Explorer. I'm still using explorer 5 and
would very much like to update to 7 or later. Now having said that, I have
downloaded "FIREFOX" but dont know how to remove it from the Download Manager and actually use it. Please help ...

not search for new updates. Error(s) found. Code 80070424... How can I fix it?

PDF Files Don't Open Since IE-7 Installed

Since upgrading to IE-7 when I click to open a pdf file from a web site or
from an email attachment in Outlook 2003 I get a blank page. At the bottom
left of the screen it says "Done". I am using Windows XP, SP3 and Office
2003.
If I download and save the pdf file and click on it, Adobe opens it fine.
