Google sponsored links not working in IE

This is an ongoing problem for a couple of months now.
Many links in emails or on the web just don't link on this machine.
NONE of the GOOGLE sponsored links for instance will open up for me.
When I cut and paste the address of the sponsor then I connect.
How can I get this resolved?

Small font size in google search page

In Ie7 vista when I open up google.com and some other web cites the font size
in the search engine box is extremely small, so small I can barely read what
I am typing. The rest of the web page is fine, it's only what I type in the

This is (nearly) the only one that explicitly has ".explorer" in the group
name.
The IE6 groups (only 14 out of more than 2,000 on the Microsoft News

IE 7.0 will not populate page with website content after opening

When I attempt to open IE 7.0 on a Windows XP SP2 machine the IE 7.0 window
opens but it continues to display "connecting" in the browser tab. The
content for the website never populates or loads. I have disabled most if
not all security add-ons related to AVG 8.0 and SpyBot and still have the
same problem ...

IE Explorer 7 Status Bar
