OE locks up whenopening

When I open Outlok Express 6 it locks up. (It does download new mail.) I have
to use Task Manager (which shows that Outlook Express is not responding) to
shut it down. What's going on and how can I fix it. ...

It might be because the ".mac" bit is at the end, and probably gets chopped
off in their view of things.

Also, as OE is intertwined with IE, there are strange group names;

Hi
I highlight the inbox on the left side.
I then hit right mouse button and in that box I hit properties.
This box has inbox in the slot. and general on a tab at the top of box.
First line says this folder contains ( a number) of messages.
The next line says this folder is syored in the folling file.

unable to open attachments

when i receive an email the only attachments that i can open are photos. any
document attachments will not open. i have turned off email scanning in
norton antivirus. does anyone have any other suggestions how to fix this

Removing automatic header when forwarding messages

Hello,
For friquently sent messages we are using templates saved in in *.eml
format. To send them again we open the template and forward it. However each
time we have to clean the automatic header:
